Where does the order actually go through?

This site is our catalog. When you press the button on a product page it hands you over to our retail partner, and everything after that point sits with them: payment, packing, the delivery date and any return.

Are the prices here the ones I will pay?

They follow the partner listing and they are re-read regularly, but a listing can move between our read and your click. The price on the partner page is the one that counts.

How long does a sealed jelly cup stay usable?

Months, if the lid goes back on straight and the rim is clean. The failure mode is almost never the paint. It is a gasket holding the lid a fraction open.

Can I buy a single colour rather than a whole set?

Yes for the shades that empty first. We sell refill cups and bottles, and white comes in a two hundred millilitre bottle because it goes fastest in every studio.

What is the difference between a jelly cup and a Twin Cup?

Volume and layout. A classic cup is thirty grams of one shade. A Twin Cup splits the same footprint into two twelve gram wells, so a wide palette fits a bag.

Is the gouache the same paint as the acrylic and the watercolour?

Same pigment sourcing, different binder. Gouache dries matte and opaque, acrylic dries water resistant, watercolour stays transparent and rewettable.

Which paper should I start with?

A heavier mixed media pad if you work wet, a pocket sketchbook if the paint travels. Our note on paper walks through the weights we stock.

Do you take stock enquiries?

We can answer questions about the paint, the formats and what suits what. Anything about an order, a delivery date or a return has to go to the partner who handled it.

Is anything on this site a paid placement?

No. The notes and the picker rank on what the catalog data says, and nobody pays us for a position.
